QLink Harsh Environment Connectors
Changes in the fiber optic industry and specific customer
requirements have driven QPC to develop a connector family that includes
multiple shell sizes, material options, and coupling mechanism.
QPC’s QLink Connector line is a versatile interconnect platform designed for harsh environments. The product line includes ten standard shell sizes in two materials, three different coupling mechanisms, and options for traditional pin and socket plugs and receptacles as well as hermaphroditic configurations to allow daisy chaining of multiple plug assemblies. The hermaphroditic plugs can be equipped with an optional coupling ring locking feature that allows easier demating of high channel count plugs.
QLink Connectors feature an innovative insert design that
allows the different connector types for each shell size to use the same insert
blanks, greatly reducing manufacturing lead times. QLink inserts are made of
Ultem 1000, a high strength composite with excellent dielectric properties, and
they can accommodate any combination of fiber optic termini and copper
contacts. Because the termini / contacts are self-retaining, they can go
anywhere on the insert. QPC stocks the QLink Connector shells, blank inserts,
and strain relief components, so making a custom connector is as easy as
defining the insert layout, machining the cavities, and packaging it in the
preferred connector body. This enables QPC to deliver application specific
connectors in weeks not months.

QPC Product Extension
QMini/QMicro to LC Adapters
QPC offers the QMini / QMicro Receptacle to LC Adapter which
provides a QMini / QMicro interface on one end and LC Duplex on the other. This
product extension provides a simple solution for connecting cables to the
source, eliminating the hassle and expense of a cable harness.
The QMini / QMicro Receptacle to LC Adapters are available
with two or four channels and with Singlemode or Multimode lenses.

Puma Addition!
QPC has doubled our Machine Shop Capacity once again!
QPC Fiber Optic added their first Doosan PUMA 2600SY II in
Q1 2018 to support our continuing growth. Upon accomplishing the successful
output of 25,000+ highly complex parts from this machine, QPC has decided to
add a second Doosan PUMA 2600SY II (Q1, 2019).
QPC is at full operation on both PUMA’s and we will be
aggressively positioning QPC to meet our customer’s needs for quick turnaround
parts!
